We are searching for a well-organized, multi-lingual and energetic Purchasing Assistant to help the Purchaser carry out daily tasks at our headquaters in Hoofddorp, The Netherlands. With a contract based on 40 hours per week.
The Purchasing Assistant’s responsibilities include researching and maintaining knowledge of market/industry trends, assisting with analyses and reports, placing and tracking orders, inspecting inventory and goods, updating relevant spreadsheets and documents, assisting with negotiation strategies and making recommendations, arranging meetings and maintaining relationships with both vendors and clients internationally but mainly in Asia (Japan, Korea, Hong Kong and China).
To be successful as a purchasing assistant, you should have excellent administrative and communication skills. An exceptional purchasing assistant should be an innovator with an eye for spotting market trends.
The salary indication will be graded between €2.600,- and €2.800,- gross per month, depending on your experience and academic level.
